EverGlow TL300 Epoxy Coating Kits contain Bisphenol A (BPA), which is listed on the International Living Future Institute's Red List of Building Materials and the EPA's Chemicals of Concern list. BPA is a likely endocrine disruptor and presents a serious risk to health and to the environment with exposure to certain quantities.

Proposition 65 is a California state law requiring businesses to warn of exposures to chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive harm. The law also requires the state to maintain a list of such chemicals. The actual list can be found here:

The following UL Compliance Report states that these EverGlow signs and markers were found to be compliant with Proposition 65. EverGlow sends out Safety Data Sheets, as appropriate, with each shipment.

Summary of tests performed:
- X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy
- This test checked for lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, antimony, bromine, and chlorine.
- Risk assement of these elements was carried out in Engineering Analysis.
- ChromateCheck
- This test checked for chromates.
- Chemicals containing chromates are frequently used in industry and can be toxic and carcinogenic.
- Conclusion: No chromates were found in the products tested.
- Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR)
- FTIR was used to check for phthalates and fluorocarbons.
- These substances can be found in products containing PVC, and can be toxic in large enough doses.
- Conclusion: No phthalates and no fluorocarbons were found in the products tested.
- EverGlow does not sell any products containing PVC.
- Engineering Analysis
- The EverGlow EXIT sign, Aluminum Strip, and Tamper Resistant Tape sample were found to constitute a low risk.
EverGlow TL300 Epoxy Coating was not tested by UL. However, the SDS can be read here, and we include the Safety Data Sheet for this product with each shipment. Furthermore, product and shipping container labelling includes information as required by California Proposition 65.
